BACK   NEXT MONTAGE     HOME

To this day, Dr. Jerry Brown, Aerospace professor and mad adventurer remains on the Crony *hitlist for his ill planned and near fatal "easy traverse with Llamas up to a hidden lake at 14,000 feet up Mount Harvard". Well, it was not a traverse, it was a steep 21+ degree  assault which brought the Llamas to their knees and had Cronies sucking air like fish left on a pier too long!  Yet, Dr. Brown insisted that the lake was, "just another 100 yards". L. Ray crapped out about 13,000 feet and was left behind with a Llama, some jerky and best wishes. (Colonel Palmer later returned in the dark to locate Ray and brought him enough gear to make it through a 15 degree evening)  Brown no longer plans any Crony trips without  a thorough review!
